Thank you for your interest in becoming a member in good standing with our organization of the Friends of Mineralogy, New Jersey Chapter. We are one of seven different chapters located throughout the United States that includes individual and family memberships that have an interest in rock and mineral collecting, mineralogy and the acquisition of minerals through field collecting and purchase to build a mineral collection. The National organization began in 1970 along with the inception of the Mineralogical Record, the world's top mineralogy magazine. We meet monthly at the Monmouth Worship Center located at 37 Vanderburg Road in Marlboro, NJ. 07746. Meetings start at 7pm and run till about 9pm. Meetings usually have a program or speaker, upcoming field trip and club discussions, and remaining is open for discussions on rocks, minerals, fossils, collecting and other related topics. Our Fiscal Year is from November 1st to October 31st of the following year. Our dues structure is as follows: - ADULT INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP (age 21 yrs. or older): $20.00 per year - FAMILY MEMBERSHIP (husband and spouse/children under 18): $30.00 - Student / Continuing Education rate (with Family): $ 5.00 ea. - Additional family members 21+: $10.00 per year per member There is no charge for children less than 18th years of age, however, a parent or guardian must accompany children at all organization functions.
