Central Pennsylvania Rock and Mineral Club

The general meetings of the Central Pennsylvania Rock and Mineral Club are held the second Thursday of each month, with the exception of August and December, at: 7:00 p.m. at: St. Thomas United Church of Christ, 6490 Linglestown Road (Rt. 39), Harrisburg, PA 17112. Meetings vary and have included guest speakers, lapidary demonstrations, auctions, and other group activities such as show and tell. There is also a small library for members to check out books which may interest them. There is a youth related activity every meeting. The August meeting is our family picnic, which usually includes a collecting opportunity, in addition to good eats and great fellowship. The December meeting features our annual holiday party. Fun, food, and geology secret Santa for all who wish to participate. Visitors are invited and always welcome at our monthly meetings! Membership is required for all field trips. Our fiscal year runs from January 1st to December 31st. If membership is for more than one person, in the “Names of Other Members” box, please include the name, mobile phone number, and email address of each adult family member included in the membership.
